Job DescriptionPrima CARE, P.C. is looking for a full‑time Cardiac Sonographer to work in a busy, fast‑paced office environment. Cardiac sonographers use non‑invasive cardiovascular technology equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart and blood vessel conditions. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills to convey scientific information to physicians and a bedside manner for patient interaction.
Essential Functions and Duties- Perform echocardiograms, including stress, 3‑D, AFI and strain imaging, and produce comprehensive preliminary reports.
- Review patient files and recognize cardiac abnormalities.
- Process reports and maintain equipment and appropriate files.
- Assist in diagnostic procedures, schedule appointments, explain procedures to patients, and maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Registered (RDCS or RCS)
- CPR Certified
- 3–5 years’ experience
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records
- Strong communication and bedside manner
