Developmental Specialist

Position details:

• Pay: $18.00/hour, $18.50 after one year
• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm, no weekends, holidays, or nights
• Location:
  
  900 Riggenbach Road, Fall River

• Recommend service plan goals and assist with assessments
• Complete daily data sheets and documentation
• Implement service plan goals and therapeutic interventions
• Communicate with supervisors and staff regarding behavior and health concerns
• Ensure all protocols are followed and activities are engaging
• Complete communication logs and progress reports
• Participate in team meetings and curriculum design
• Support positive behaviors and maintain expertise in the field

• High school diploma or GED required; experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to assist, escort, and transport participants
• Must pass criminal background check, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
