Controller

We are on the hunt for a dynamic, organized, and highly driven Controller to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is passionate about overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Location:

Remote/Flexible

Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 per year (plus bonus opportunities).

• Maintain financial records, oversee preparation and recording of all accounting entries, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting processes to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to owners.
• Supervise accounts payable processes and related vendor statements and payments.
• Lead the annual audit process, working closely with tax accountants and external auditors to ensure compliance and timely completion.
• Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance across all entities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with LLC structures and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting principles.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
