Job DescriptionRoger Williams University is seeking adjunct instructors to teach graduate level courses in our Forensic Mental Health Counseling program. The program is designed to prepare students to be eligible for future licensure as a mental health counselor (LMHC) or similar credential. Please specifically state the courses you'd be interested in teaching and the general availability (days/times) that you might have in your cover letter.
ResponsibilitiesTeach graduate-level courses in Forensic Mental Health Counseling. Cover for faculty on sabbatical or leave as needed. Work with the department to schedule courses.
QualificationsDoctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field and evidence of recent college-level teaching effectiveness.
At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
