Position OverviewSouthcoast Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Endocrinologist physician to join our esteemed Endocrinology & Diabetes Center consisting of 4 physicians supported by 6 advanced practice practitioners. This position is out‑patient only. The successful candidate will contribute to our tradition of practice excellence and play a pivotal role in advancing patient care in our community.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal insufficiency, pituitary disorders, and osteoporosis in the outpatient practice setting, while developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor chronic conditions through follow‑up visits, adjusting treatment plans and medications as needed and coordinating care/referrals for complex cases.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options and lifestyle modifications.
- Work with primary care providers and other specialists, such as surgeons, nephrologists, dietitians, for multidisciplinary care.

- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification/eligibility in endocrinology.
- Fellowship training in endocrinology.
- Current state medical license and DEA registration.
- Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills.
