GAP Survey & Safety Hire & Sales offers one of the largest ranges of survey & safety equipment and accessories in the industry. From range of equipment including Robotic and GPS equipment, the division has everything our customers in the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors need.

Our Apprenticeship Programme covers all the essential skills and principles you will need to become a Test & Run Fitter within our specialist Survey Division and you'll learn how to service and repair survey equipment, including diagnosing specification errors on a variety of survey products and calibrate to within manufacturer specification.

You’ll will also learn how to complete calibration certificates and associated paperwork whilst maintaining an up to date knowledge of our Survey products, their application on site and the full range of accessories.

Our Apprenticeship Programme allows you to earn as you learn:

• Apprentices under 18 joining our programme you will be required to work a maximum of 39 hours per week with a starting salary of £16,224 per annum.
• Apprentices over 18 joining our programme you will be required to work a maximum of 42.5 hours per week with a starting salary of £17,860 per annum.

After successful completion of Year 1 you will automatically be placed on the National Minimum Wage rate for your age group and as you progress through each year of your apprenticeship your salary will continue to increase.

To apply for the GAP Group Apprenticeship Programme, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• 4 National 4s or above
• A keen interest in Construction or Plant Technology
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
