We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join Falkirk Council’s Sport, Leisure & Culture Team in a pivotal role of Town Hall Project Development Manager.

Working as part of a passionate and ambitious service, you will play a pivotal role in our new £70m Falkirk Town Hall Project. The project will deliver a new and exciting Town Hall by 2029, bringing a 550 seat regional theatre alongside a dynamic studio theatre to the area. The town hall will serve as a sustainable and innovative exemplar of collaborative multi‑service delivery which is impactful, supports health and wellbeing outcomes for our communities whilst delivering high‑quality customer experiences.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a proven track record in leading operations and delivering transformational change within Cultural Services.
  • Has a deep knowledge of the National cultural landscape and experience working in partnership with funders, local authorities, 3rd sector organisations and the arts and youth arts communities.
  • Brings an established network of contacts and a clear understanding of the work required to open a new venue.
  • Brings strong leadership skills with experience in programme design, workforce development and performance negotiations.
  • Understands compliance, risk, and health & safety to ensure safe and sustainable operations.
  • Demonstrates strong financial and commercial awareness, with the ability to balance service quality and efficiency.
  • Is resilient, forward‑thinking, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for our communities through Culture, Leisure & Arts.
