Position: Employment Associate (2+ PQE)

This Top 25 international firm, with a strong presence in Edinburgh, is seeking a talented Employment Associate (2+ PQE) to join its highly ranked team.

You’ll work across a full spectrum of contentious and advisory employment law matters, supporting major clients on complex, strategic issues while developing real expertise in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

As an Associate, you’ll work with a wide variety of clients across sectors including financial services, energy, tech, life sciences and government.

The role covers both contentious and non-contentious matters, from day-to-day HR advisory work and tribunal litigation to complex restructuring, TUPE and industrial relations.

You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with L500-recognised Partners and be part of a close-knit, supportive team where personal growth and development are genuinely prioritised.

Your Experience
  • 2+ PQE Solicitor with relevant Employment Law experience
  • A balanced experience of both contentious and advisory work (or a desire to grow in both areas)
  • Excellent client-handling skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships
  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and development
