Senior Catering Asst​/Supervisor

This role is being advertised by Brightwork who are recruiting for our client in Falkirk and we require a Temporary Senior Catering Assistant / Supervisor for our client's site.

Hours of work are on a rota basis: 35 hours per week. This role is shift based shift hours are between 6am and 7.00pm. There may also be a requirement for occasional evening/ weekend work.

As a Senior Catering Assistant the main duties include the following:

• To support and assist the Catering Manager (deputising where required) in the delivery of the catering provision
• Monitor service delivery at meal times to ensure that standards and procedures are consistently maintained
• Supervise and engage with the catering assistants and placements
• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with current legislative practice and in conjunction with the Food Safety Scotland guidelines
• Completion of all routine administration and communications relevant to local and national requirements (weekly checks, food safety checks etc.)
• Monitor food waste and manage stock levels advising the Catering Manager when stock is coming to its end of shelf life or needs to be replenished assist in the planning of menus, stock ordering and catering to meet the dietary needs of all college users

£16.31 per hr
