A vacancy has arisen within CADS for Band 5 Registered Nurse within the Community Alcohol and Drug Service based at Falkirk Community Hospital.
Responsibilities and duties- Provide training, leadership, and supervision to nursing students and non-registered staff engaged in evidence-based, specialist interventions for substance use problems.
- Implement the principles of the recovery model of care and treatment for those with drug and alcohol related issues.
- Receive formal, structured monthly supervision to ensure patients with substance use are progressing along the recovery pathway and receiving appropriate clinical interventions.
- Promote an integrated model of care in conjunction with partner agencies, demonstrating good interpersonal and team‑working skills.
- Travel throughout the area of service delivery as required.
- 1st level Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) trained to degree level with an interest or experience in the relevant specialty.
- Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the service area.
