We’re working with a well-established waste management company based in Falkirk, providing essential services within a 24/7 operation. They’re now looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their team and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

This role would suit someone who enjoys organising, planning and supporting others, and who takes pride in helping operations run efficiently and compliantly.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a key support role across operations, compliance and planning. You’ll help prepare jobs properly, keep information up to date and work closely with drivers, site teams, suppliers and office colleagues.

Your day-to-day will include:

* Putting together and managing job work packs so teams have everything they need before work starts

* Helping coordinate daily jobs and supporting smooth service delivery

* Keeping an eye on vehicle and fleet tracking systems to help jobs stay on schedule

* Assisting with compliance paperwork, including waste transfer notes and SEPA-related documentation

* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to help arrange services and equipment

* Ordering PPE, consumables and tools, and arranging equipment hire when needed

* Raising and tracking purchase orders

* Pulling together information to support the sales team with quotes and job details

What They’re Looking For

You don’t need to tick every box — training and support will be provided. They’re really looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team.

Ideally, you’ll:

* Be naturally organised and comfortable juggling different tasks

* Feel confident making decisions and prioritising your workload

* Have some experience in an operations, coordination or office-based role

* Be comfortable working in a business that operates 24/7

* Have good communication skills and enjoy working with different people

* Be happy working with systems, paperwork and processes

Experience with in waste management or a regulated industry would be helpful, but isn’t essential.
