A Material Handler performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday‑Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

• Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to packaging, unpackaging, put‑away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.
• Cut open boxed inventory in the storage area or on the rack.
• Place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack.
• Walk the length of the flow rack.
• Wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle‑free.
• Assist with labeling, tagging, or color‑coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification.
• Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
• Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Follow warehouse safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned based on the business the warehouse supports.

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a high‑volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (e.g., testing and repair), or forward logistics operation is a plus.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
• Clerical skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment.
• Stand dynamically for long periods.
• Use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch, seize, hold, grasp or turn with hands.
• Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Push and/or pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Reach up and out with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to climb stairs or ladders.
