The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Fifth Grade Teacher.
Certification/CredentialsValid ODE Teacher Certification/Licensure Elementary 1-8 OR K-8 OR PK3 with 4-5 Endorsement.
K-12 Reading Endorsement Required
Demonstrated knowledge of elementary instructional practices across all core content areas including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.
Ability to develop and implement standards-based instruction aligned to Ohio Learning Standards.
Knowledge of assessment practices, progress monitoring, and data-informed instruction.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with disabilities and English learners.
Strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive, structured learning environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with students, families, and staff.
Familiarity with MTSS/RTI frameworks and tiered interventions.
Experience using instructional technology and digital learning platforms to support instruction.
Experience collaborating with intervention specialists and related service providers to support student learning.
Knowledge of IEP implementation and accommodations within the general education classroom.
Proper placement per the negotiated agreement.
