What Your Day May Look Like:

* Conflict resolution and De-escalation.

* Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client's premises.

* Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

* Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.

* Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.

* Provide detailed written witness reports.

Position Requirements :

* Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.

* Must have a high school diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within six months.

* Must have average to above average computer skills.

* Customer service background preferred.

* Security experience a plus.

* Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.

* Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.

* Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.

* Will require open/flexible availability (nights, weekends, & holidays included).

* Valid drivers license and a clean driving record needed (this position does require driver certification).

* Reliable transportation required (public transportation is not recommended for this position).

* Reliable form of communication needed.

* Must be comfortable with frequent standing / walking which may be for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs / walking up inclines and/or being in various weather elements.

* Must be willing to participate in the Company's Security Officer pre-employment screening process, including drug screen (mouth swab and/or urinalyses) and background investigation (drub screen includes THC).

* Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

* Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
