Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Citi Trends is seeking a Store Sales Associate to support store operations, provide excellent customer service, and assist management with merchandising and daily tasks.

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns
• Balancing the register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during register transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently at the point of sale
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly according to company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when needed
• Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned
• Providing proper customer service, including greeting customers, adhering to fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising on the sales floor according to stock levels
• Assisting management with tasks per company policy
• Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions
• Supporting Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following current operational policies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
