Responsibilities- Work with a high degree of independence while performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs.
- Utilize leading-edge technology and programs, including PM using voice applications, Noregon diagnostics, Uptake predictive analytics, TAAS, and more.
- Repair and maintain Pepsi’s diverse fleet equipment, including automobiles, light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts.
- Perform advanced diagnostics across OE platforms (Volvo, International, Freightliner, Maxon, electrical vehicles, material handling equipment, etc.).
- Perform high-level repairs (engine and driveline, aftertreatment and emissions, safety systems).
- Develop repair and maintenance capability for alternative fuels (electric, CNG, B100).
- Diagnose failures, disassemble/repair/reassemble parts as needed.
- Maintain documentation and records (vehicle records, pre-trip checklists).
- Answer service calls and support Pepsi’s safety standards and procedures.
- Minimum Education:
High School/GED. - Own basic hand tools; diagnostic, ergonomic, and high-tech equipment provided.
- Physical requirements:
lift up to 50 lbs; frequent movements (lifting, bending, reaching, climbing); ability to pass Forklift Driving Skills test if applicable. - Certifications/
Experience:
Brakes Certification; experience with hydraulic and air brake systems; experience with aftertreatment and emissions repairs; driveline repairs; experience with diagnostic platforms (Noregon, Snap-on, Nexiq, Altel, etc.). - Experience with EV/alternative fuel capabilities and heavy-duty vehicle repairs (class 6-8 diesel); ASE certifications (Electrical, Heavy Duty, Suspension) preferred; CDL class A or B experience may be required for certain roles.
- Experience with shop tools, preventative maintenance programs, and computer-based diagnostics (iPad, handhelds, laptops).
- Experience repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, and working with OEM manuals; willingness for shift work and on-call availability.
- Welding certification and hotwork experience are a plus.
