Base Pay Range$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Current Responsibilities- Opening and Closing duties
:
Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start‑ups, required cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening the back door of the store for deliveries. - Cash handling
:
Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers. - Customer experience
:
Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience. - Engaging customers
:
Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience. - Service best practices sharing
:
Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits. - Operations
:
Holds store keys, assists and coaches team members with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, registers sales accurately, assists manager with order exceptions, evaluates displays, maintains inventory and pricing accuracy, assists with bookkeeping, keeps the store appearance neat and orderly, ensures compliance with regulations, helps at the pharmacy out window, performs bag checks, complies with all policies, and completes special assignments. - Training & Development
:
Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager. - Communications
:
Serves as liaison between management and non‑management team members, and reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
- One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
- Knowledge of store inventory control.
- Consideration of employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
- Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
Salary Range: $17 - $20 / Hourly.
