Flynn Panera is a franchisee of Panera Bread. The organization is built on a decentralized business model, with each geographic area led by a Market Leader. Reporting to the Market Leaders are Area Directors, who oversee multiple units, and General Managers, who are the chief café managers. Assistant Managers support the General Managers in operating the café and managing daily operations.

Our Panera cafés are upscale, friendly environments featuring baked breads, pastries, made‑to‑order soups, salads, and sandwiches, along with specialty espresso beverages. No fryers, no late nights – this role is ideal for a morning person.

• Provide outstanding leadership to your team and foster a profitable, customer‑focused environment.
• Ensure high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, safety, and facility management.
• Manage the overall business performance, including ordering, scheduling, labor management, marketing, facilities management, bakery operations, and catering.
• Analyze and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability.
• Create and execute plans for sustained profitability.
• Coordinate the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts, greeting customers and performing table visits to ensure satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor associates through one‑on‑one sessions, performance documentation, and reviews.
• Recruit, train, and maintain staffing levels.
• Build and develop the team, retaining high‑performing associates.
• Control costs and manage the budget.
• Act as the primary resource for resolving associate questions and issues.
• Serve as the primary specialist within the bakery‑café, ensuring associates are properly trained and competent in all aspects of food service.

• At least 2–3 years of hospitality or restaurant management experience.
• A degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management is preferred.
• Food management certifications are a plus.
• Must possess a 'Run it Like You Own It' mentality.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a steady employment track record.
