Overview
Evaluates and treats patients requiring speech-language-swallowing therapy.
Minimum QualificationsEducation, Certification, and/or Licensure:
- Current or temporary Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the applicable state where services will be performed
- MD:
Speech Language Pathologist License OR Limited Speech Language Pathologist License through Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers and Speech-Language Pathologists - OH:
Speech Pathologists License OR Temporary Speech Language Pathologist License through Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board - PA:
Speech Language Pathologist License through Pennsylvania Board of Examiners in Speech Language and Hearing - WV:
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist License OR Provisional Speech Language Pathologist License through the West Virginia Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology OR must obtain within 48 months of hire
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
Preferred Qualifications:
Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:
- One (1) year of speech language pathologist experience
