Forklift Operator - Warehouse Freezer

Fairmont Foods, Inc, a growing member of the Downs Food Group family of companies, is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for our Warehouse Freezer department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the movement and organization of goods in this department. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers.

• Load and unload trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods.
• Scan barcodes to accurately track and locate items within the warehouse.
• Adhere to the FIFO (First In, First Out) system to maintain product rotation and freshness.
• Perform regular forklift maintenance, including daily pre-trip checks.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Ensure cleaning materials are stored in their designated locations.

• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Ability to perform routine forklift maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
