Speech Language Pathologist in Fairhope, AL

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school serving kindergarten through 5th-grade students in Fairhope, AL. This contracted role offers the opportunity to support young learners in developing essential communication skills within a collaborative educational environment. The position runs from March 2025 through May 29, 2026, providing a full 35-hour workweek on-site.

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from K-5th grade
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement treatment strategies tailored to students' needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and comply with district and state regulations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology
• Registration with the Alabama Board of Speech Examiners is required
• Experience working with elementary-level students is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, educators, and families
• Flexibility to complete credentialing and prescreen interviews as part of the onboarding process
