We are searching for a talented Physical Therapy Assistant.
Hours: 40 hrs
Shift: Day shift with 1 holiday a year & 1 Saturday every 6 weeks; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Location: VNA Rehab – This is an FT PTA position to cover Seekonk & Rehoboth primarily with Swansea and Somerset overflow
Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

Responsibilities and QualificationsUnder the direction of the Clinical Manager and the Registered Physical Therapist, work with patients to prevent disability, relieve pain, develop, improve or restore motor function and maintain maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the persons capabilities.
- An Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
- Two (2) years of related experience required.
- Home care experience preferred.
- Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and may be required in Rhode Island, subject to geographic area assignment.
- CPR certification is required.
