We are searching for a talented Pharmacy Tech – Oncology
  • Hours:

    40 hrs
  • Shift: Day shift, 7:00am – 5:00pm
  • Location:

    Oncology – Fairhaven, MA; rotating between Fairhaven and Fall River sites

Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Manager, Pharmacy Oncology or designee and direct supervision of the pharmacist, perform a wide variety of duties involving responsibility in preparing products using aseptic techniques and batching medications following USP 797/800 guidelines as well as performing all cleaning per guidelines.
  • Other duties include the purchasing of supplies and medications and generating automated dispensing machine (ADM) reports with appropriate follow‑up.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or the equivalent is required.
  • Additional clinical coursework or training is preferred.
  • Massachusetts state registration as a pharmacy technician is required.
  • PTCB certification is required within 18 months of hire.
  • One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID‑19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Compensation

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay range

USD $19.18 – $28.82 per hour.
