Class B Route Driver

$20.00 – $22.00/hour or Piece Rate (earning potential $35k – $50k)

• Directly interface with customers and perform routine customer service tasks, including order entry and identifying opportunities for additional company products and services.
• Maintain routes and accounts for proper routing sequence, and assist with collections and minimum delivery requirements set by the store.
• Ensure vehicle inspections, including DVIR and monthly commercial vehicle inspections.
• Deliver, exchange, and handle all types of P/E tanks, bottled water, salt, chemicals, and filters as required on routes.
• Collect and document receipt of money from customers and complete all paperwork legibly, including delivery tickets and route books.
• Operate carts, dollies, forklifts, lift gates, hand trucks, and hand tools.
• Work overtime if required to finish the route.
• Abide by all company policies as contained in the company employee handbook.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards and wear all required safety equipment.

• This position will be based in the Fairfield, OH office with occasional travel to area Culligan branches as needed.

• Class B license or greater.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the city area you will be working in.
• Maintain a good driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Employees who are offered a position are subject to a DOT physical (at time of hire and every two years thereafter), a drug screen, and a background check in accordance with state and federal laws.

• Lift and carry or otherwise transport objects weighing over 100 pounds repeatedly (more than 70% of the time).
• Spend a significant amount of time walking, standing, sitting, and climbing in and out of the vehicle.
• Use body movements such as bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, reaching above shoulder level, crouching, balancing, pushing, and pulling.
• Use hand movements such as twisting, turning, pulling, pushing, tapping, hitting, and squeezing.
• Maintain visual acuity in accordance with DOT requirements (must pass the vision test).
