Warehouse Design​/Supply Chain Optimization; Intralogistics Consultant

Duration: 8-9 Months

• We are engaging a senior consultant to support a large-scale warehouse transformation initiative.
• This is a high-impact role focused on redesigning internal warehouse layout, product flow, and material handling strategy to drive efficiency, space optimization, and operational excellence.
• This position will work as part of a small transformation team responsible for the end-to-end design and setup of an optimized warehouse environment, including expansion of new product lines and SKU ramp-up.

• Design and plan optimized warehouse layouts, including storage zoning, slotting logic, and product flow strategy
• Lead inner-warehouse transformation initiatives with focus on space utilization and throughput efficiency.
• Develop material handling and product flow systems aligned to Lean principles.
• Reconfigure and set up large-scale product introductions (1000+ SKUs / multi-thousand part numbers).
• Optimize reception, storage, order preparation and outbound processes.
• Drive ergonomics and operational efficiency in layout design.
• Analyze warehouse KPIs (cost, service level, productivity) and implement corrective improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.

• Proven experience in warehouse design and optimization at a senior level.
• Hands‑on involvement in warehouse transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Lean concepts and process‑flow efficiency.
• Expertise in space planning, slotting strategy, and intralogistics systems.
• Ability to serve as layout decision‑maker within project teams.
• Proficiency in CAD software for layout design.
• Working experience with SAP S4/HANA (or similar enterprise systems).
• Exposure to data analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, etc.) preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse equipment and PIT operations is a plus.
