Test Engineer - Electromechanical

As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of products by designing and executing tests, identifying issues, and collaborating with development teams.

• Design and Implement Tests: Create test plans and scripts to ensure hardware meets specified standards and requirements.
• Conduct Testing: Execute various types of testing, including functional, performance, security, and regression testing, to identify bugs and ensure product reliability.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Analyze test results, troubleshoot errors, and work with development teams to resolve issues effectively.
• Documentation: Create test plan and test procedure documents, write detailed reports on test results, document defects, and maintain records of testing processes and outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product features and testing requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of testing methodologies and processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Work Environment: Test Engineers typically work in an office setting or on the factory floor. Occasional short-term travel may be required.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred. Military experience or other extensive test experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

• Previous work experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with testing equipment such as DVMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers.
• Ability to develop test systems.
• Experience with Voltech is a huge plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to identify and address issues effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and document findings.
