Outside Sales Representative – Disaster Restoration Services (B2B)
Overview

We’re hiring an experienced outside sales/prospecting professional to grow our disaster restoration services business. This is a field-based hunter role focused on building relationships and opening doors with facility managers, operations leaders, engineers, and property decision-makers before a loss occurs.

This role is strictly services-based selling
—not software, not technology, and not product sales. Success comes from cold prospecting, in-person visits, and long-term relationship building
, not inbound leads or demos.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Prospecting commercial and industrial facilities through cold calls, site visits, and referrals
  • Building pre-loss relationships for:
  • Fire & smoke restoration
  • Mold remediation
  • Environmental and emergency response services
  • Selling emergency response agreements, preferred vendor status, and long-cycle service contracts
  • Meeting customers on-site (facilities, plants, hospitals, offices, campuses, warehouses)
  • Maintaining ongoing relationships with facility, operations, engineering, and maintenance teams
  • Working closely with project managers and operations during active losses
This Role Is a Strong Fit If You
  • Have sold B2B services
    , especially restoration, construction, environmental, or facility services
  • Are comfortable walking job sites, damaged facilities, and mechanical spaces
  • Have called on Facility Managers, Operations Managers, Engineers, Maintenance Directors, or Property Managers
  • Enjoy cold prospecting and door-opening
    , not inbound or inside sales
  • Understand long sales cycles
    , emergency-driven buying, and relationship-based renewals
  • Prefer autonomy and being in the field over a desk-based role
Required Experience
  • 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience selling services
  • Proven experience generating new business through cold prospecting
  • Experience selling into commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or multi-site facilities
  • Ability to manage a territory independently
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
Preferred Backgrounds

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be strongly considered:

  • Disaster restoration or mitigation services
  • Construction or general contracting
  • HVAC, janitorial, fire & life safety, or facility services
  • Environmental or industrial services
  • Property management or commercial facilities sales
Not a good fit if your background is in

This role is not a fit for candidates whose background is primarily in:

  • SaaS or software sales
  • IT, MSP, or technology services
  • Product-only sales (equipment, devices, materials)
  • Inside sales, SDR, or inbound-only roles

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped incentives with total earnings ranging from $70,000 to $170,000
