Construction Estimator

Full-Time | Union Commercial Construction | Subcontractor

We are a union commercial carpentry subcontractor company seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team in Fairfield, NJ. This position will focus on estimating commercial union construction projects and working closely with general contractors to prepare competitive and accurate bids.

• Prepare competitive bids from drawings and specifications
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs
• Review and analyze project scope and contract documents
• Maintain strong working relationships with general contractors
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously
• Coordinate with internal teams during preconstruction

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience
• Commercial construction experience required
• Union construction experience preferred
• Knowledge of union labor rates required
• Procore experience required
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Ability to manage multiple active bids
• Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)
