Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Data Scientist serves as a senior technical and strategic thought partner, defining solution architectures, influencing product and business decisions, and ensuring analytical solutions are technically rigorous and operationally viable. The ideal candidate can lead end-to-end solutioning independently, manage ambiguity and complex stakeholder dynamics, and communicate technical and business risks across teams and leadership. SQL and Python programming, and ML modeling will be a daily activity as you work with Snowflake data sets to build planning and network optimization models.

• Lead the framing, design, and delivery of advanced optimization and machine learning solutions for high-impact retail supply chain challenges
• Lead successful implementation and development of advanced planning and scheduling software, including network optimization and scenario planning
• Create supply chain planning tools to improve planning processes, increasing accuracy and efficiency
• Develop, implement, and maintain key performance indicators for supply chain planning
• Build ad hoc reports for supply chain planning functions to help improve planning processes and communications
• Refine statistical and machine learning forecasting models to minimize forecast error and bias
• Develop supply planning tools that include rough cut and finite capacity constraining

• 5+ years of experience with advanced SQL and Python programming for data mapping, transformation and querying
• Prefer 3+ years’ experience within Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, or Supply Chain Analytics
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional data initiatives
• Proven organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree minimum, advanced degree preferred
• High drive for results and willingness to work in a demanding and rapid paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, follow-up, and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work autonomously across functions to meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion
• System implementation experience a plus
• Excellent Excel skills and knowledge; proficient in Microsoft Suite

The base salary range for this role is listed above. Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.’s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals. In addition, e.l.f. provides medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, gender neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off.

The amount of total compensation offered will be based on location, experience, and qualifications. Compensation components are subject to change at the company’s discretion.
