Junior Staff Accountant

A boutique tax & advisory firm is looking to add a junior Staff Tax Accountant to its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accountant who wants hands-on exposure, real mentorship, and a clear path for growth in public accounting.

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses
• Assist with partnership, S-corp, and corporate tax filings
• Support quarterly estimates, extensions, and year-end filings
• Help maintain clean financial records and supporting schedules
• Perform basic bookkeeping, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Respond to client and agency tax notices with guidance from senior staff
• Collaborate closely with senior accountants and partners

• 0–2 years of experience in public accounting, tax, or strong internships
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or actively completing one)
• CPA candidate or intent to pursue CPA strongly preferred
• Solid foundation in accounting principles and tax basics
• Comfortable working with Excel and accounting software
• Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
