Gro Consulting is excited to be partnering with a great company near Fairfield, IA to find a Shipping & Warehouse Associate!
Who we are looking for!
Looking for a stable, full-time warehouse role where your work actually matters? Join our small, close-knit team as a Shipping & Warehouse Associate, where you’ll play a key role in getting automotive parts into customers’ hands, accurately, on time, and worldwide.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with their hands, and being part of a team that depends on each other every day.
Roles and Responsibilities- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with warehouse and office staff to ensure correct order fulfillment
- Receive incoming shipments from vendors and manufacturers
- Verify, label, and assist with inventorying incoming parts
- Organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory
- Maintain clean and orderly shipping, receiving, and storage areas
- Coordinate shipments with freight carriers and parcel services
- Locate parts and pull inventory for order fulfillment
- Assist with shipping or order-status inquiries as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and comfort using email
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and basic office software
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to process improvements
- Forklift experience preferred or willingness to learn
- Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred
- Fast-paced warehouse environment
- Small, lean team where each role plays a critical part
- Primarily indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor or uninsulated storage areas
