Job Summary
The Assembly Associate is responsible for applying prismatic material to a variety of plastic products and ensuring that finished products meet the company’s quality standards.
Essential Functions- Measures and cuts prismatic material to the required size and shape for different products using cutting tools.
- Places the prismatic material accurately and efficiently into plastic parts, trims and finishes details to ensure proper alignment and secure fastening.
- Inspects work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications, checking for defects, damage, and proper alignment.
- Maintains and cleans tools and equipment to keep them in good working condition.
- Assembles a variety of parts to produce finished products.
- Uses stencils to customize and label finished products.
- Palletizes and straps finished products.
- Collaborates with other members of the Assembly team to meet deadlines and deliver products on time.
- Abides by safety rules, procedures, and regulations, including wearing required safety equipment such as safety shoes and glasses.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Identifies and reports quality or safety issues to supervisor or manager.
- Works effectively with co‑workers and supervisors, sharing knowledge, resources, and experience to achieve production goals in a timely fashion while promoting respect, communication, and teamwork.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to follow directions: complete assigned tasks as instructed by the supervisor to ensure priorities are met.
- Attention to detail: accurately apply sheeting material and assemble parts to meet specifications and client needs.
- Manual dexterity: use a variety of hand and power tools for cutting, trimming, and attaching parts for assembly.
- Accuracy: measure, cut, and place sheeting material accurately according to specifications.
- Time‑management skills: efficiently manage time to complete orders in a timely manner.
- Communication skills: good communication skills to work effectively with other warehouse personnel.
- Dependability: reliability and consistency of attendance, punctuality, and completion of assigned tasks with little supervision.
- A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
- No previous work experience required.

- Physical dexterity: bend, twist, reach, stand, walk, and use hands to handle and feel, and hear.
- Lifting: lift and move items weighing up to 20 lbs on a regular basis and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Vision: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Endurance: stand for extended periods of time and perform physical tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exposure to elements: work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, inclement weather, dirt, and dust.
- Noise level: moderate noise from forklifts and power tools for much of the day.
