OverviewThe Senior PLM Project Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives, with a primary focus on Oracle PLM–based implementations and integrations. This role owns project delivery from initial scoping through execution, reporting, change control, and closeout. Operating as the primary client partner, the Senior PLM Project Manager translates business requirements into clear, executable project plans while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
This is a fully remote role that requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent PLM projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead full project lifecycle for PLM initiatives, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and change control
- Manage Oracle PLM implementations and system integrations, ensuring alignment with client business objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and maintaining clear, consistent communication
- Coordinate and manage internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts
- Ensure adherence to our client’s PMO standards, methodologies, and governance processes
- Provide clear, actionable project reporting to clients and executive stakeholders
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Manage scope changes through formal change control processes
- Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and steering committee updates
- Support continuous improvement of PLM delivery practices and PMO standards
- Proven experience managing enterprise PLM projects, preferably Oracle PLM implementations and integrations
- Strong background in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects successfully
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into executable project plans
- Experience in consulting or professional services environments
- PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification
- Familiarity with ERP, SCM, or related enterprise system integrations
- Experience working within a formal PMO structure
