Overview
The Marketing Automation Liaison supports the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns across digital channels, with a strong focus on email marketing and lead nurturing. This role works cross-functionally with the Marketing & Communication, Business Development, IT, and other teams to help build and optimize campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, Adobe Analytics, and other platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for using data and automation to enhance the customer journey.
KeyDeliverables And Responsibilities
- Build, test, deploy, and measure the success of marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Analytics Builder.
- Manage subscriber lists, audience segmentation, and dynamic content using AMPscript, filters, and SQL queries.
- Partner with the analytics team to track campaign performance in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud reporting tools.
- Ensure UTM parameters and tracking codes are consistently applied to measure campaign effectiveness across platforms.
- Collaborate with Salesforce CRM users to align contact records, campaign data, and lead flow processes.
- Coordinate with Marketing & Communication and IT teams to support tagging, personalization, and form integrations.
- Document campaign requirements, QA processes, and best practices to support team-wide scalability.
- Support A/B testing, campaign optimization, and performance reporting across email and paid digital channels.
- Assist with marketing calendar management and campaign scheduling across departments.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar tool) and Salesforce CRM.
- Familiarity with AMPscript, SQL, or other scripting/query languages.
- Understanding of digital campaign tracking and performance metrics (e.g., open rate, CTR, conversion rate).
- Comfortable navigating Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar tools for campaign analysis.
- Ability to translate business goals into campaign logic, segments, and data flows.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working across departments and with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing or marketing operations.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience in a B2B or highly regulated industry (e.g., financial services) is a plus.
- Experience with Linked In Ads, Google Ads, or programmatic platforms is a bonus.
Phoenix, AZ or Fairfield, IA – Hybrid in‑office 3x/week.
Salary Range$65-70,000/year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the company’s operational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, education, performance, internal equity, and geographic location.
