Located in the Adirondacks, Point O’Pines Camp for Girls is looking for Gymnastics Coaches to teach safe, age-appropriate gymnastics, help campers build skills and confidence, and create a fun, supportive experience. Gymnastics Coaches may serve as in-bunk staff depending on camp needs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach daily gymnastics classes focusing on skill development and proper technique
- Adapt instruction for different ages and ability levels
- Promote safe gymnastics practices, including warm-ups and spotting as needed
- Supervise campers to ensure safety and positive participation
- Assist with routines, demonstrations, or camp showcases as scheduled
- Maintain gymnastics equipment and activity space
- Participate in camp-wide activities and special events
- Experience teaching gymnastics to children or teens
- Knowledge of gymnastics safety and proper techniques
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
