JOB SUMMARYThe lifeguards are responsible for the safety and general welfare of swimmers at the Curry College pool.
GENERAL DUTIESThe primary duties are prevention, enforcing pool rules and responding to emergencies. Other duties include chemical testing of pool water, vacuuming and cleaning of the pool, completing daily report forms and ensuring safe and clean facilities.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONAmerican Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR Training.
EXPERIENCEMinimum of one year lifeguard experience, CPR certification, First Aid and exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills
BASIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLSFollow college policies and procedures. Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
