Camp Watitoh in Becket, Massachusetts is searching for a nursing assistant to work alongside our nursing staff in the infirmary. The medical team at Camp Watitoh is a key part of our team that is responsible for the health of our campers and staff over the course of the season.
NURSE ASSISTANT MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in Distribution of medicine under RN supervision
- Conducts lice checks (in accordance with the Center for Lice Control) when needed and any other health checks
- On Call during large athletic events
- Eat all meals in the Dining Room so a nurse is present
- Assist in gathering paperwork needed for doctor visits
- Work closely with the camp Doctor and Nurse to ensure the well being of all campers and staff.
- May be asked to attend off site trips with campers.
- Perform basic first aid care
In addition to their salary, all staff at Camp Watitoh receive a travel stipend that scales based on distance travelled to camp as well as room, board, and laundry services for the duration of their contract. The contract for this position runs from June 10th to August 9th 2026.
