Summary

Join our team as a Feed Intern in Minot, ND and gain hands‑on experience in feed manufacturing and facility operations. In this role, you’ll learn to operate production equipment, support quality assurance processes, and assist safely and efficiently with inventory and scheduling tasks. You’ll also have the opportunity to work directly with customers and contribute to maintaining accurate production records, all while building a strong foundation in agricultural operations.

Responsibilities
  • Learn to operate the feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to CHS quality assurance program regarding ingredient receiving, load‑out, and bagging.
  • Assist with performing necessary sequencing, recording, and documenting of all feed manufactured during shift.
  • Train on maintaining accurate production and FDA records, entering data into Excel spreadsheet.
  • Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that assures accuracy and high quality.
  • Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning, and control.
  • Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers when needed.
  • Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
  • Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
