Position Objective
Continually monitor MPS & MRP to maintain an executable schedule through collaboration with supervisors and other members of the Production Control team.
Principal Responsibilities- Ensures proper production control planning and scheduling to meet forecasts with direction from manager.
- Planning, scheduling, and prioritization of work through the factory to meet production start/finish fates and customer ship requirements.
- Supports lean enterprise activities and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provides information to quality for customer requirements pertaining to traceability.
- Perform system transactions as needed, i.e. when employees are out, RM type transactions, or scrap transactions.
- Supports manufacturing floor with releasing orders to production and splitting production lots.
- Ensures the latest drawing revisions are being used in the manufacturing process.
- General “clean up” of planned work orders in MRP system as directed by management staff.
- One year of experience in purchasing and/or inventory control in a manufacturing environment
- Experienced Microsoft Office suite user – most specifically Excel
- Detail oriented with some experience with creating or managing schedules.
- Or any combination of knowledge, skill, ability and experience that is agreeable to the manager.
- Due to ITAR Regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles & methods
- Excellent computer and analytical skills
- Understanding of MRP and general understanding of manufacturing processes
- Communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Good time management and flexibility to alter tasks through the day
