This is a full-time hybrid role for a Medical Biller/Coder at Black Rock Pediatrics, based in Fairfield, CT. The position involves accurately coding medical records using ICD-10, processing insurance claims, managing denials, verifying patient coverage, and ensuring compliance with insurance and Medicare regulations. The role also includes regular collaboration with healthcare providers and patients to resolve billing inquiries. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely, with occasional on-site work required.

• Proficiency in Medical Terminology and understanding of clinical documentation
• Experience in resolving claim Denials and insurance-related issues
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and other coding systems
• Familiarity with Insurance and Medicare policies
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance representatives
• Knowledge of electronic health records and billing software is a plus
• Certification as a medical coder (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is highly desirable
