Position: Staff Development Coordinator (RN)

What You'll Do
  • Design, implement, and oversee training programs for our team.
  • Develop orientation and ongoing training programs for exceptional resident care.
  • Assess training needs, develop curriculum, and implement educational strategies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align training with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Mentor, coach, and support staff to enhance skills and performance.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements; maintain accurate records of training activities and staff certifications.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in nursing care.
Qualifications
  • Valid state nursing license.
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience in a nursing leadership role in a long‑term care setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in staff education and development.
  • Commitment to resident‑centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery.
  • Inspirational leader focused on innovation and quality improvement.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both.
  • Excellent communication, instructional, and presentation skills.
  • Strong clinical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
