Key Responsibilities:
- Function as a clinical consultant, delivering extensive respiratory care practices throughout the hospital.
- Provide all aspects of invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor and manage patients with artificial airways.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Critical Care, Women & Children’s & NICU Unit, Emergency/Trauma, and general care areas.
Qualifications:
- A blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and independent work habits.
- Graduation from a CoARC approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
- CRT credential with requirement to acquire RRT credential within 6 months.

Experience Minimum Required- Graduate of CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Clinical rotations with all age groups in all aspects of respiratory care.
- 1 year of acute care hospital clinical and diagnostic experience.
- Graduate of a CoARC Respiratory Education Program.
- Bachelor's degree from an advanced level education program.
- Age specific criteria.
- Training in at least two age populations.
- Training experience in multiple age populations.
- Basic computer skills, Assessment, Diagnostic and Therapeutic skills, Arterial Puncture, Mechanical Ventilation, Critical Thinking Skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Advanced assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic skills and ventilator management skills with all age populations, intubation skills.
- NH RCP License, RRT credential or CRT credential with credentialing to RRT within 6 months required, AHA BLS, NRP within 90 days
- ACLS, PALS
