$120K–$180K Base + Bonus Opportunities | Hybrid – Fairfield, CT (Mondays in office)

We’re hiring a Lead Financial Planner/Advisor on behalf of a fast-growing, planning-first wealth management firm in Southern Connecticut.

This isn’t a back-seat support role. This is a true lead advisor seat with heavy emphasis on financial planning, in a firm that is scaling intentionally—and looking for someone who wants to grow with it.

Why This Role Stands Out:

Built-In Opportunity Flow

You won’t be hunting for prospects from scratch. The firm has a strong marketing engine generating a steady stream of qualified new client opportunities.

After onboarding, you’ll step into full ownership of client relationships—leading meetings, delivering advice, and becoming the trusted voice in the room.

Planning-First Philosophy

Advice leads. Products follow. The firm is deeply committed to comprehensive financial planning as the foundation of every relationship.

This is a growth phase opportunity. You’ll help refine workflows, enhance systems, and elevate the client experience as the firm scales.

Performance-Based Upside + Future Equity Path

Quarterly bonuses tied to company goals and your controllable KPIs. Long-term equity opportunity for the right person who grows with the firm.

What You’ll Own:
  • Creating and delivering comprehensive financial plans for new clients
  • Leading plan presentations (primarily via Zoom)
  • Serving as the primary advisor and point of contact post-onboarding
  • Coordinating implementation with operations and admin support
  • Continuously improving processes to help build an elite, scalable client experience
Who Thrives Here:
  • 5-7 years of client-facing financial planning experience
  • CFP® preferred (exceptional candidates without it will be considered)
  • A service-first mindset with strong communication skills
  • Energized by ownership, growth, and building something meaningful
  • Excited by both client impact and firm-level impact
  • Comfortable working in a primarily remote environment

If you’re ready to step into a true lead advisor role—with real upside, real ownership, and real opportunity to shape the future of a growing firm—we’d love to connect.
