Camco’s been building things the right way for decades — steady hands, sharp minds, and long-lasting processes. With our increasing technical parts, we are hunting for a Process Engineer who can bring brains, grit, and a questioning mindset to our production floor.
If you’re the type who walks into a factory, spots inefficiencies, and thinks, “Yeah, I can fix that,” then you’re exactly what we’re looking for.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Analyze workflow, bottlenecks, and machine utilization — building solutions that age well.
- Develop and improve SOPs, work instructions, and routing plans for production teams.
- Work closely with engineering, planning, and shop-floor teams to optimize throughput.
- Support quality initiatives and dig into root-cause analysis.
- Design new tools, fixtures, or methods that cut waste.
- Track KPIs, gather production data, and turn numbers into meaningful decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and efficiency manufacturing philosophies.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (or equivalent experience), mainly referring to STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
- New grads are highly encouraged to apply for this position.
- 0-2 years of real manufacturing experience — metal fabrication, CNC machining, or assembly preferred and ability to read engineering prints.
- Strong process-thinking mindset with a habit of continuously asking “Why?”
- Experience with routing, cycle time analysis, workflow design, and process documentation.
- Hands-on exposure to Lean/CI tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.).
- Computer
Skills:
Proficiency in Excel, ERP familiarity, and comfortability with engineering tools including Solidworks.
Why Join Camco?
Because we don’t just make products — we build things that last.
We’re a family-rooted American manufacturer with a future-focused mindset, advancing tradition and innovation side by side.
You’ll get:
- Paid time off & holidays.
- A tight-knit team that values each member.
- The chance to leave your touch on every improvement project.
Again, if you are not a U.S. citizen, do not apply for this position.
