One (1) year of vocational school training in electrical or mechanical engineering drafting. Three (3) years of applicable experience in three-dimensional (3D) computer aided design (CAD).

U. S. Citizenship. A valid driver’s license. Must have experience or, at least, a strong familiarity with 13M mil-std drawings.

An Associates in electronics. Understanding of drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and specifications preferred. Extensive experience with 13M mil-std drawings. Familiarity with missile systems, especially the HELLFIRE family. Although it would likely be less than 10% of the year, the ability to travel is a plus.

Ability to create drawing packages for mechanical equipment from existing fabrications, while providing feedback and taking direction from technical experts. Ability to work with electrical engineers and other technical SMEs to convert Printed Circuit Board and other electrical/electronic drawings into the proper format for 13M drawing packages. Ability to work with mechanical engineers, designers, and other drafters to create mechanical designs based on input from technical experts.

Ability to communicate with fabrication shops to order mechanical parts.

Will support the test set integration team by maintaining, updating, or creating new drawings for all fielded test sets and instrumentation. Will assist with the design of mechanical fixtures and parts.
