Salary: $30.00-$32.00
Location:
Onsite 5 days a week
- Have a minimum of a valid California Associate Teacher permit (or applied for one)
- Must have completed at least 3 units of coursework in Infant Toddler Development and Care
- Minimum one year of center based care experience
- Understands rationale and procedure for child abuse reporting as mandated by state law and the responsibility for action as a mandated reporter
As part of the TICDC team, the Infant Teacher will assist in developing and implementing monthly/weekly/daily lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers.
Responsibilities- Providing feedback to Program Manager/Director regarding staff’s interactions in the classroom.
- Managing classroom activities, while supervising and fostering a safe and nurturing environment inside and outside of the classroom.
- Conducting and maintaining assessments (DRDP), on individual milestones and.
- Maintaining confidentiality with all personal information regarding families, children and staff.
- Establishes a primary relationship with all the children in the classroom, as well as their families.
- Support lead teacher and team member in guiding children in conflict management and problem solving strategies.
