Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Media Strategy Intern to join the MCG Media Strategy team. This position is located in our New York office, with three days on-site (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a team flex day) and two days remote.

You will be working with the Media Strategy team to prepare RFPs and marketing materials that speak to our clients’ needs and strategic imperatives. The Media Strategy team works in tandem with the sales department in order to deliver robust and accurate proposals that clearly outline the programs that Haymarket has to offer. The internship program coincides with our busy season where we see a significant spike in proposals, so organization is paramount to this role in order to manage the increasing volume of RFPs.

• Learn the workflow and standard operating procedure of the Media Strategy team as well as adjacent departments
• Familiarize yourself with the tactics/products offered by Haymarket Media.
• Complete RFPs & presentations that properly align with our clients’ objectives.
• Create and maintain SOP documents to ensure procedural optimization.
• Receive and assess client requests so that you can accurately pitch the appropriate programs and strategies.
• Input data into our designated CRM to ensure an optimal and accurate sales process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to curate custom audience groups that will be utilized during our clients’ campaigns.
• Maintain internal team documents that inform our standard RFP process.

• Proficiency in Google Sheets & Google Slides
• Familiarity with AI tools
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail and organization
• Ability to draw conclusions from data points
