Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resource K–5 Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in Moncks Corner, SC
. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing individualized instruction and academic support to students with diverse learning needs.

The Resource Special Education Teacher will work with students in grades K–5 in a resource setting, collaborating with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student success. The ideal candidate is student-centered, organized, and passionate about inclusive education.

• Provide specialized instruction and academic interventions to K–5 students in a resource setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff
• Track and document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
