Position OverviewWe are seeking passionate, flexible, and creative LBS1 certified teachers to join our team across various locations in Illinois. These part‑time and full‑time positions involve working directly with students in behavioral health settings, delivering instruction in a small classroom environment. As a Learn Well educator, you will play a critical role in helping students stay engaged in learning while receiving the care they need.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver individualized and group instruction to K‑12 students across core subject areas.
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans tailored to students’ educational needs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with hospital staff, school personnel, and families as needed.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and instructional reports.
- Provide a structured, supportive learning environment that aligns with treatment goals.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Active Illinois LBS1 teaching license
- Experience or comfort teaching core academic subjects across K‑12 grade levels
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet a wide range of student needs
