MOSAIC Innovation Camp is a brand new summer offering for Middle School students in the Mamaroneck school district focusing on fun career skills development while building a diverse community where anyone can be anything they want to be.
What you’ll be doingYou’re joining a summer camp team where roles and tasks are collaborative and shared. As the Bilingual Office Assistant you’ll be the first line of contact for parents, campers and staff. Keeping track of absence and lateness es, fielding phone calls, managing t-shirt inventories and distributing group schedules.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESReporting to the Camp Director and Lead Administrators, the duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the main MOSAIC office as needed to keep daily administrative tasks of MOSAIC functioning smoothly ranging from filing, printing needed documents, maintaining attendance and scheduling binders and more
- Maintain all student data record updates provided by families such as changes in dismissal procedures and updated contact information
- Run daily absence/lateness reports in the camp management software ensuring all head counselors have taken accurate attendance and keeping track of trends of campers with excessive absences
- Call all families of absent students to record the reason for the absence
- Receive all late campers who arrive after morning rally, noting their attendance, reason for lateness, and ensuring they get to their group
- Ensure that all visitors sign-in and out when visiting the program
- Ensure that all campers are signed out properly if leaving camp early
- Ensure all camper dismissal changes are properly recorded in the camp management system in a timely manner prior to dismissal so counselors have an accurate list of how their campers are getting home
- Be physically present in office at all times to answer the phone and assist in-person with the needs of families and fellow MOSAIC staffers at all times
- Keep track of inventories of staff and camper apparel and swag, completing sales to parents and staff as necessary

Requirements- Must be at least 18 years old prior to the start of the program
- Availability to work the entire camp season and attend all required orientations and trainings
- Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish
- Have a desire to make a difference in the lives of kids
- Want to know what Color Wars is and are already strategizing to win the annual trophy
- Possess a valid social security card and NYS state identification
- Take a background check with fingerprint approval if you are not a Mamaroneck School District employee (we will provide instructions as part of the onboarding process)
- Provide two references only one can be a personal (non-family) reference
June 29, 2026 to July 24, 2026 (No camp Friday, July 3rd)
- 8:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Orientation week days (June 29th – Jul 2nd)
- 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Regular camp days
